RYA Powerboat Level 2
The club arranges RYA Power Boat Level 2 courses when demand dictates. These can be run for between two and six trainees. The aim of the course: To teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard, and introduction to driving at planing speed, collision regulations and an understanding of Pilotage and passage planning. If you are interested in this course please contact our Training Principal and we will attempt to accommodate your requirements.
Courses are usually run over a weekend: Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am to 5.00pm but can be run at other times by arrangement. Your course fee includes a RYA Powerboat Logbook that contains the course syllabus and the Start Powerboating handbook.
