Weather forecasts are very important for sailors: a sunny day and a 10-15 mph wind and we are happy but at Whitemere the prevailing Southerlies and South Westerlies can be tricky as they find their way through the trees that surround much of the mere.

The sites shown on the righthand side of the screen are recognised as good sources of information and Windguru has a Whitemere forecast with detailed windspeed information (in knots). If you have a favorite source of weather data let us know and we will add it to the list
