Clubhouse Update 11th February
Everything moving really fast now. We have seen excellent progress this last week. The contractor has completed the roof and the scaffolding has been removed. Monday saw a start on the outside cladding and the internal fit-out. The windows are being fitted today (Tuesday) with the electricians due on site tomorrow.

The build of our new club house is going well. We are nearly at the half way point of our fund raising. BUT we need a little more to complete the project. An excellent Powerboat level 2 course - 18th/19th January
Under clear blue skies and sunshine this weekend a lovely group of people visited Shropshire SC and gained their RYA Powerboat Level 2 awards. Congratulations to Molly and Josh from the club, Daniel from Ellesmere College and Chantalle and Louise from the Ironbridge Rowing Club. Sincere thanks to Mike, Brian and John for instructing. To compliment the great weekend a beautiful winter's sunset.

Clubhouse Update
The build team are back on site this week aiming to make our new clubhouse water and weather tight as quickly as possible. Over the Christmas period, Caius has been skillfully flying his drone to get us some more great photos of the internal space and the perspective of the building sitting in its surroundings. Continued good progress this week on our new clubhouse, bricklayers finishing off, drainage tank completed and roof trusses going on.

More about the New Clubhouse
Even with the continued awful weather, this week has seen the sewage retention tank (affectionately known as the club submarine) submerged into the 'the big hole' and covered over. Just an inspection lid to be inserted and landscaped. Come Spring you'll be none the wiser when the grass grows again. Just its 'periscope' giving its position away. The roof trusses have also arrived. Thank goodness Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are forecast to have sunny intervals
